Sorry to mislead you but that opening photo is a 2003 version, the mountains are fully timbered and without snow at the moment but then we have not arrived at winter just yet. 
Now here is a story we have not heard much about energy shortages this winter because of low rain and snow falls consequence of the prolonged drought.
Visit the Snowy Hydro site and check the dam and snow levels for your self.
phDuck is prefers to Float and Massage as you know but its nice to fly over the Snowy mountains and look over the lakes and that's what we are doing here taking and OVER VIEW.
